Building on the success of our award-winning 2021 research, we conducted a study of more than 1,200 knowledge workers, business leaders, people managers, and HR leaders who shared insights for today’s employers:
- Skills development and training and company culture have increased in importance by more than 20 points for business leaders since our research in 2021
- 41% of business leaders believe their company is doing a good job with company culture, compared to 24% of surveyed knowledge workers
- More than 9 in 10 respondents say that learning, career development, and training is important for them personally and for their company to thrive
- Seven in 10 respondents believe location flexibility is important
- A higher percentage of fully remote (85%) and hybrid (84%) employees believe their companies have effective people managers than employees who work in the office (75%)
