Karman Wong

Karman joins Blue Beyond as a consultant, with over six years of experience working in communications and expertise in employee engagement and nurturing thriving cultures. She’s excited to tie these fields together with her exposure to change management and leadership, and build her experience in all these areas.

Prior to Blue Beyond, Karman started her career in college at a small family-run company called MyTailor.com that taught her the foundations of customer service, content management, and e-commerce. She transitioned to doing internal communications for Spectrum Brands, a mid-sized international consumer products company, that focused on internal communications, employee engagement, culture growth, and so much more. From there, Karman moved to Oracle where she supported their HR Mergers & Acquisitions team, focusing on communicating to acquired employees, engagement, and onboarding activities.

Karman is a member of IABC and holds an MA in Communications from CSU Fullerton and a BA in Sociology and Criminology from UC Irvine. She is most complimented on being able to appear calm and laid-back in approach, while remaining polished in demeanor and tone. She also has a knack for understanding “the big picture.”
