Blue Beyond® Consulting Wins Gold Stevie® Award in 2023 Stevie Awards for Women in Business

Women Around the World Recognized at Event in New York

Castro Valley, Calif – November 11, 2023 – Blue Beyond® Consulting has been named the winner of a Gold Stevie® Award in the Thought Leadership Campaign category in the 20th annual Stevie Awards for Women in Business.

The Stevie Awards for Women in Business honor the achievements of women executives, entrepreneurs, employees, and the companies they run — worldwide. The Stevie Award has been hailed as the world’s premier business award.

Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word for “crowned,” the awards were presented to winners last night during a gala event attended by nominees and their guests at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City. The event was broadcast via Livestream.

More than 1,600 entries were submitted this year for consideration in more than 100 categories, including Executive of the Year, Entrepreneur of the Year, Company of the Year, Startup of the Year, Women Helping Women, and Women Run Workplace of the Year.  

Blue Beyond — and specifically Founder and CEO Cheryl Fields Tyler — are being recognized for an in-depth research study the company conducted in 2021 (“Good for Me, Good for Us, Good for the World: A New Agenda for Business Leaders”) as well as a subsequent 4-part series in Forbes, several keynotes, and media interviews focused on the research study findings.

Gold, Silver, and Bronze Stevie Award winners were determined by the average scores of more than 200 business professionals around the world, working on six juries. “Fantastic entry!” wrote one judge about Blue Beyond’s submission. “[It] is concise, with punchlines, and leaves no search for proof.” Another wrote, “The program insights were well written, clear, and provided the planning and delivery, which was outstanding! The samples provided a strong support for the campaign delivery success. Well done!” 

Referring to the research study that was the basis for the Thought Leadership Campaign, judges pointed out how important the topic was for business leaders navigating the future of work. “This strikes right at a place that is incredibly important to me and should be to every leader,” one of the judges wrote. “At a time when it feels like values and ethics are ‘in the way’ of what most CEOs and shareholders want, it’s inspiring to see a company demonstrate the opposite.”
